The headphone jack on my Zen micro is having problems; sound keeps going in
and out.

I got new earbuds and I've tested them elsewhere so I know it's not broken.
They are fine. The problem is the jack where you plug in earphones. I have
to constantly jiggle to get the sound to come through fully. Very, very
frustrating....

Any suggestions? What are my options? Can Creative service it?

It'll be the jack that's partially broken away from the circuit board.
Creative can repair it, but it'll be expensive if you aren't under warranty.

Best suggestion is to fix it yourself if you are any good with a
iron...

Thank you very much for the link...I've got the same problem and my Zen
isn't anymore under the coverage of warranty. I'll try to fix it.
